MATHEMA GALLERY & WOODFORD GARDENS CAFE
This is a real surprise for those who haven’t yet experienced what’s inside Mathema Gallery. The Gallery was established by Dr. Calvin and Rosemary Irons, who wanted to share their love of mathematics and remove the mystery and misperception that mathematics is only symbolic and difficult. They aim to show that mathematics is everywhere and that everyone can do well at it.
Well worth the effort to visit this very different and interesting venue.
Plenty of interactive displays to keep you guessing about how mathematics were created and utilised.
The gallery features both static and interactive displays that cater to all age groups.
Owners have a love of maths and the gallery area has many unique interactive and visual displays based around maths.
After the visit to the Gallery it’s a drive to Mount Mee and then off to the Woodford Gardens Cafe (pictured below) for lunch.
Price for this one is $84 and that includes morning tea and lunch.
Peter Lamb is the contact.
