MONTHLY MEETING & CHANGEOVER

The Clubs AGM set down for the 6th March has been cancelled due to the extreme weather conditions resulting from Cyclone Alfred. The Clubs AGM will now be held after the general meeting set down for the 3rd April 2025.

This is the time of the year when we have the Club’s Changeover, wherein the new President for 2025 takes the helm. President Al will hand over the reins to incoming President Moy, and she will hold the position of President until our next changeover meeting in March 2026. We thank President Al for his dedication to ensuring the Club continued its forward momentum, and congratulate him for elevating our Club numbers to 110 with a small waiting list.

We meet on the first Thursday of the month (except January) at the Hornets Club at Carseldine. Our meetings are generally two hours long commencing at 10.00am sharp. We normally have two speakers, one who speaks for some 5 minutes about a matter of interest and another who speaks for some 30 minutes on a matter, or subject, that they are passionate about.

Currently the cost of attending a meeting for members is $10 which includes a raffle ticket and covers the cost of the private room hire and morning tea.

And if you are lucky enough to be successful in the raffle then your prize could be a voucher for $25.

Our meetings are generally well attended with 70 plus members so its wise to arrive some 30 minutes prior so that you can have a choice of seating.

And If you are a non member or a visiting Probus Club member from another Club, and want to attend as our guest, then please contact our Secretary Greg Early (details are on front page) and he will assist with the arrangements.
